【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheresistanceofexteriormetalroofpanelsystemstoairinfiltrationresultingfromeitherpositiveornegativeairpressuredifferences.Thetestmethoddescribedisfortestswithconstanttemperatureandhumidityacrossthespecimen.ThistestmethodisaspecializedadaptionofTestMethodE283.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletoanyroofarea.Thistestmethodisintendedtomeasureonlytheairleakageassociatedwiththefieldoftheroof,includingthepanelsidelapsandstructuralconnections;itdoesnotincludeleakageattheopeningsorperimeteroranyotherdetails.1.3Theproperuseofthistestmethodrequiresknowledgeoftheprinciplesofairflowandpressuremeasurements.1.4Thetextofthistestmethodreferencesnotesandfootnotesexcludingtablesandfigures,whichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotesshallnotbeconsideredtoberequirementsofthetestmethod.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionarystatements,seeSection7.
