【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasprimarilydevelopedtodeterminebenzene,toluene,andxylenesinchemicalintermediateandsolventstreamssuchasreformate,BTXextracts,pyrolysisgasoline,hydrogenatedpyrolysisgasoline,crudebenzene,crudeethylbenzene,commercialtoluene,andlightblendingaromaticfeedstocks.Thistestmethodmaynotdetectallcomponentsandtheremaybeunknowncomponentsthatwouldbeassignedinappropriateresponsefactorsandthus,theresultsmaynotbeabsolute.TherelativedistributionofC8aromaticsisusefulfordeterminingconformancetop-xylenefeedstockspecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetotalnonaromatichydrocarbons,benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene,xylenes,andtotalC9+aromatichydrocarbonsinBTXconcentratesbycapillarycolumngaschromatography.Thistestmethodisapplicabletomaterialswithafinalboilingpointbelow215176;C.1.2ThistestmethodmayalsobeusedtodeterminetherelativedistributionoftheindividualC8aromatichydrocarbonisomersinmixedxylenes.1.3Individualcomponentscanbedeterminedfrom0.01to90%.1.4Indeterminingtheconformanceofthetestresultsusingthismethodtoapplicablespecifications,resultsshallberoundedoffinaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecificprecautionarystatement,seeSection9.
