【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseasaguideincaseswhereanexperimentaldeterminationofheatofcombustionisnotavailableandcannotbemadeconveniently,andwhereanestimateisconsideredsatisfactory.Itisnotintendedasasubstituteforexperimentalmeasurementsofheatofcombustion.Note38212;TheprocedurefortheexperimentaldeterminationofthenetheatofcombustionisdescribedinTestMethodsD240andD4809.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheestimationofthenetheatofcombustionatconstantpressureinSIunits(megajoulesperkilogram)orinch-poundunits[Btuperpound].1.2Thistestmethodispurelyempiricalandisapplicableonlytoliquidhydrocarbonfuelsderivedbynormalrefiningprocessesfromconventionalcrudeoil,whichconformtotherequirementsofspecificationsforaviationgasolines,oraircraftturbineandjetenginefuelsoflimitedboilingrangesandcompositionsasdescribedinNote1.Note18212;Theestimationofthenetheatofcombustionofahydrocarbonfuelfromaniline-gravityproductisjustifiableonlywhenthefuelbelongstoawell-definedclassforwhicharelationbetweenheatofcombustionandaniline-gravityproducthasbeenderivedfromaccurateexperimentalmeasurementsonrepresentativesamplesofthatclass.Eveninthiscase,thepossibilitythattheestimatesmaybeinerrorbylargeamountsforindividualfuelsshouldberecognized.Theclassesoffuelsusedtoestablishthecorrelationpresentedinthistestmethodarerepresentedbythefollowingspecifications:Fuel
