【摘要】:Thispracticedefinestestlotsanddescribestheselectionandpreparationoftestspecimensusedinthedeterminationofmagneticpropertiesofvariousmaterials.Amethodofcalculatingthedensityofiron-baseelectricalsteelsisgivenandatableofassumeddensitiesformagnetictestingofcommercialsoftmagneticalloysisprovided.1.1Thispracticecoverssamplingproceduresandtestpracticesfordeterminationofvariousmagneticpropertiesofbothsoftandhardmagneticmaterials.1.2Thispracticemaybeusedeitherinconjunctionwith,orindependentof,thestandardtestmethodsandmaterialsspecificationsunderthejurisdictionofASTMCommitteeA06.Intheformersituation,thesamplingandtestingprocedureslistedhereinshallnotsupersedethosefoundintheindividualtestmethodsandmaterialsspecifications.Inthelattersituation,thesamplingandtestingprocedureslistedhereinshallstrictlyapply.1.3Thevaluesandequationsstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)orSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthisstandard,SIunitsareshowninbracketsexceptforthesectionsconcerningcalculationswherethereareseparatesectionsfortherespectiveunitsystems.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
